How to Become an Official AMSA Member
In order to become an official AMSA member for the 2023-2024 school year, all members are required to only pay the chapter fee of $25 to our Treasurer. This cost will grant an AMSA T-shirt at the end of the year! Once complete, fill out the Membership form located below, and you will be a paid AMSA chapter member!
Please note: in order to become a chapter member, you are not required to become an AMSA national member.
How to Become and Stay an Active Member
STEP 1:

Attend some AMSA events (meeting, fundraising, community service, etc.) each quarter!
STEP 2:
​
Earn membership points each time you attend a meeting or other AMSA event. A couple of people with the most points each quarter will earn a prize!
Benefits of becoming an active member
1.) Receive a complimentary AMSA t-shirt and certification. Active seniors will be able to buy a senior stole.

2.) Active members will be recognized at Fall Banquet.
​
3.) Advantage on earning a board intern position and/or board position.
​
4.) Ability to participate and get priority at AMSA events (community service, hands-on workshops, etc.)
​
5.) Get to know other members better an build stronger connections with the board.
​
6.) Be recognized on social media.
​
*You can still be a member and attend AMSA meetings/events without paying the dues, but you will not receive any of the above benefits.
